Our Health Care Heroes.
We are in this together!
Our healthcare heroes are on the frontlines at Newport Hospital, ensuring that all patients receive the care they need in a healthy and safe environment. Won’t you lend a hand to ensure Newport Hospital has the resources needed to meet the heightened demands of care?
The unprecedented challenges brought on by Covid-19, have meant that hospitals must change the way they operate and deliver services. Newport Hospital has operationalized new health and safety protocols to ensure that patients will be cared for in the safest, COVID-19-free settings.
Please support the health and well-being of our community, and the island’s only hospital. Newport Hospital is here for us, and we need to be there for them. Thank you for making a gift today!
Important patient update
In this phase of re-opening, Newport Hospital has lifted restrictions on scheduling elective surgical procedures, and other clinical services that were closed due to the coronavirus outbreak in Rhode Island. Primary Care and other Lifespan Physician practices are open and seeing patients, either in person, by phone or by video. Newport Hospital, and all of Lifespan are following the most up-to-date safety and infection control recommendations set forth by the Rhode Island Department of Health and the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC). All patients are required to wear a face mask and use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer upon entering any Lifespan facility.
